Can I remotely reboot the server without your help?
Yes. RapidReboot technology allows you to reboot your server in the event all connectivity is lost. Just log into your myServerBeach portal to initiate the reboot with the click of a button!

Do the Windows servers come with web-based email, or just email?
Windows servers installed without a control panel at ServerBeach come with the free version of MailEnable. It does not include a web-based client, only POP and SMTP.

Do you do an off the disk installation of RedHat?
Our installs come with the latest security patches (which an off-the-CD install would not), insuring that the installation you get will be both up to date and secure.

Does ServerBeach have name servers for its customer's use?
Yes. In addition, the hostnames of our nameservers are not 'serverbeach.com' as it is a common request that the name servers not have the server host in them. We intentionally chose generic names for our name servers for this purpose. There is no cost to use our nameservers.

We utilize various forms of Network IDS and monitoring but the security of your server is the server administrator's responsibility.

How long does an OS reload take?
Our guarantee is 24 hours but we average between 2-6 hours.

I clicked the "forgot your password" link but it hasn't sent me a new password. How can I login?
Unless you see the error "no match for email address and/or password found" then the new password has been sent. Check your email account for any filtering that may have caused that email to go into a junk email folder.

Is ServerBeach going to perform the backups for my server?
No. Performing regular backups is the responsibility of our customers and is highly recommended. We offer backup options at an additional cost.

May I get more IP's from ServerBeach?
Yes. Simply login to your MyServerBeach portal and submit your request via the ticketing console. Each additional IP costs $1.00 US per IP per month. May I run my own name servers?
Yes. While we highly recommend using our name servers, if you have a specific need, we do not prevent customers from hosting their own.

You will want to be sure you are using the correct email address that is listed on the account. If you are sure it is correct then the problem lies with the password you are attempting to use. What is the typical turnaround time for ticket requests?
We have a 24-hour guarantee for replies submitted via the ticketing system but it is typically a far more rapid process.

When do I have to cancel my server if I do not wish to be billed again?
We need at least 3 days notice as indicated in our Terms of Service if you do not wish to be billed again.

Will ServerBeach install SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificates on my server?
