One of my favorite aspects of working at PEER 1 Hosting—and there are so many!—is the company’s unwavering commitment to people, from our own employees to customers and partners. It makes me very proud to be part of such an outstanding team that is dedicated to powering human potential online and helping our customers achieve the myriad opportunities that the Internet enables.
While all of our employees echo this sentiment, it’s a bit less common to find a partner that so closely mimics our passion for people. That is why I am so excited to share the story of our longstanding partner One Pica, a Boston-based digital eCommerce agency that designs and builds online stores for retailers using the Magento platform. One Pica does incredible work for companies like Scholastic, Crumbs Bake Shop and the Miami Dolphins, and they place the same emphasis on interactions that we do. One Pica has an extremely service-oriented attitude for doing business, one that I greatly admire, and they are passionate about helping customers achieve the best possible results online.
Because One Pica is very hands-on with its clients, they wanted to partner with a hosting provider that would take the same approach and further bolster the customer-centric culture they’d established. We approach every single interaction with that same attitude and focus on providing the most human experience on the Internet, so it was a perfect match. To this day, one of the main reasons our partnership has been so successful is that One Pica places the same value on “the human element” that we do—that is, the person on the other side of the phone when something goes wrong or when clients have questions.
