Managed Hosting Provider Ranking Increases After Acquisition

Today, we announced the acquistion of NetBenefit (UK) Limited, a leading UK-based Managed Hosting company and division of London-based Group NBT Limited. The acquisition firmly positions PEER 1 Hosting as the No.2 provider of SME Managed Hosting services in the UK and creates a platform to support further growth in Europe. In the past 12 months, we have been growing annualized run-rate revenues by 100 percent in EMEA. This acquisition will bring very real benefits to our people and customers, including:

Greater Scale this acquisition positions PEER 1 Hosting as one of the two largest providers of SME Managed Hosting services in the UK. This greater scale will allow us to invest in new services and help create greater opportunities for our people to develop the skills you demand.

Improved Infrastructure – we enhance our high performance FastFiber Network™ with the addition of two new datacenters.

Extended eCommerce Services - NetBenefit is a fully compliant PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Level 1 provider. Their expertise in this area extends our own eCommerce hosting capabilities while the addition of a datacentre in London will improve services for customers demanding low latency services in the region.

European Reach – for our customers with international operations, NetBenefit’s operations in France we will extend our capabilities in Europe.

Greater Skills – the bringing together of a large number of highly skilled staff also means our customers will have access to an outstanding pool of technical talent.

We are very excited about this significant milestone in our company’s history and look forward to seamlessly integrating NetBenefit over the coming weeks and months into PEER 1 Hosting.
