Meet PEER 1 Hosting at Gartner Symposium/ITXPO 2012

Every year, thousands of IT professionals converge on Orlando – no, not to shake Mickey Mouse’s hand, but for Gartner’s Symposium/ITXPO. We’ve found this to be a great venue to discuss what IT means to businesses today, how it is helping drive revenue and make organizations more competitive, and what innovations are in store for the next four quarters.

Recently, many of these conversations have focused on cloud implementation, as has much of our focus here at PEER 1 Hosting. In fact, as you likely saw last month, we announced a new partnership with cloud platform developer Tier 3 to deliver a VMware-based enterprise cloud in the UK. We’re excited about this new partnership and how it will ease complexity management and minimize operational requirements for enterprise users.

Many companies and enterprises today rely on a large and complex system of infrastructure to host and store data, applications and services; this infrastructure is now largely being outsourced to hybrid cloud infrastructures throughout the world. As this practice becomes more commonplace, many have simply flipped the switch on cloud hosting without considering the possible technology performance impacts, such as latency, data control and security. PEER 1 Hosting and Tier 3 aim to help enterprises smooth out that move and improve the benefits of cloud hosting within an enterprise’s IT presence.

If you’re going to be at the Gartner Symposium/ITXPO this week, please stop by PEER 1 Hosting’s booth, where Tier 3 representatives will also be available to discuss the benefits and features of our new joint offering.

We look forward to seeing you (and maybe Mickey Mouse too!) on the Gartner Symposium/ITXPO show floor throughout the week! Can’t make the show, but have questions for us on our partnership with Tier 3? Feel free to leave a comment below, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
