Green Data Centers and Clean Cloud Power Infrographic

In our latest infographic, find out how global IT brands like IBM, Facebook, and Apple rank on Greenpeace's Clean Cloud Power Report Card–you'll be very surprised who received a "D". You'll also also learn who has the greenest data centre, how one "greenifies" a data centre, who's got the lowest PUE in the business, and more.

Power Usage Effectiveness or PUE is a metric used by the hosting industry to measure how effective a data centre is in terms of power usage. Ideally, the majority of the power will be consumed by the computing equipment housed inside the data centre, as opposed to cooling systems or other operational overhead. PUE is one metric where the lower your score is, the better.
