Things are beginning to settle down for the holidays as many of our employees, customers and friends scurry off to their celebrations and get-togethers. It’s the perfect time of the year to reflect on what we accomplished in 2012 and set goals for next year. In that spirit, we at Peer1 Hosting took a few minutes to share what we are most proud of achieving in 2012 and where we are setting our sights for the coming year.
Mike Bainbridge, Solutions Engineer
In 2013, I am hoping for more of the same. The last year has been breath taking at Peer 1 and, while it may seem overly optimistic, I can only see us getting better and more focused on our goals. For me, that means delivering a service that's second-to-none to help our customers exceed their expectations.
One of the great things about working at Peer 1 is the core values that run through the company, one of them being "Anything is Possible." In the last 12 months, I've seen the EMEA operation grow from about 30 employees to more than 80. Not only that, but our customer base is growing at that rate as well! The customer success stories are too great to list, but it's the sense of pride that everyone has here that really gives me hope for where we are headed in the next year.
Radoslaw Kosinski, Manager, Fremont and San Jose data center operations
For me, it’s the simple things in life that matter the most and spending time with my family to ring in the New Year is important. Each year, my family gets together and we all celebrate the New Year with great food, drinks, laughter and fun family time. Those times together always bring hope and the promise of change. It’s a time to reflect with my family in celebrating our accomplishments. Every year, I wish for great health for my family, friends and co-workers. Winning the lottery is the wish everybody makes, but being healthy means you can enjoy life no matter what challenges await you in the New Year.
Dorothy “Socks” Williams, Customer Experience Manager
As I look ahead to 2013, I hope to continue PEER 1 Hosting’s tradition of helping our customers be even more awesome and successful. And, on a more global note, I am wishing for a year when we see harmony and happiness in the world. There is so much change happening all over the world. While it’s exciting to see progress, it’s sad to see so many people hurt or losing their lives in all the conflict.
Blake Clark, Manager, Critical Infrastructure
In 2012, we grew tremendously as a company. At the beginning of the year, I set out to reduce PEER 1 Hosting’s operating cost – and succeeded! We cut operational costs nearly 30 percent and have gained almost a full row of capacity. I hope to continue contributing to the health and success of PEER 1 Hosting throughout 2013 with projects like this one. I also look forward to going back to college. By the end of 2013, I hope to be well on my way to getting my master’s degree in business management, with the eventual goal of climbing the ranks at PEER 1 Hosting.
Anjuli Blair, Recruitment Coordinator
I am so proud of my decision to come work at PEER 1 Hosting this year! I have seen my personal and professional life advance since I started in April, and I am proud of the work that I’ve done here so far. Next year, I am really looking forward to becoming more “techy” and learning more about this great business as I help recruit for various positions at PEER 1 Hosting.
What can we expect from YOU in 2013? What are you most proud of accomplishing in 2012? Happy Holidays and best wishes to you and yours for the New Year!
