Mefeedia has just moved over to PEER 1, utilizing a multi-server managed hosting solution. The site makes it easy to find, watch, share, and discuss video – no matter where that video is hosted or what platform or player you choose to watch it on. You can discover great video from around the Web and create a “Personal Media Channel” that keeps track of your favorite video and audio shows, updates you automatically when there is a new episode, and then downloads the shows to any place you choose, delivering your media when you want it and how you want it. PEER 1 client Joel Spolsky of Joel on Software announced that FogBugz On Demand is now available. FogBugz is a complete project management system for software teams. Designed by Joel, FogBugz helps you make better software by tracking, prioritizing, and coordinating the thousands of small tasks a development team has to do. FogBugz is web-based, so everyone on the team always sees the whole picture. Feature requests, customer email, bugs, even high level design discussions are instantly searchable and trackable.

Joel has been a co-location client of PEER 1 since 2003 when he first came on board in our New York data center. He recently expanded into a second data center at our Los Angeles facility and we’re happy to see that he’s been satisfied with PEER 1′s reliability, uptime, and performance. You can read his thoughts here. He also remained online, along with other PEER 1 customers during the Northeast Blackout on August 14, 2003 – the largest blackout in North American history. PEER 1′s backbone was one of the very few that survived the blackout and never went down.
