BarCamp Vancouver 2007 takes place on Saturday, August 18th, 8:30am to 5:30pm at WorkSpace Vancouver, 400 – 21 Water Street in Gastown. PEER 1 is a proud sponsor of the event. BarCamp is an ad-hoc un-conference born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from attendees. All attendees must give a demo, a session, or help with one. All presentations are scheduled the day they happen. Prepare in advance, but come early to get a slot on the wall. Presenters are responsible for making sure that notes/slides/audio/video of their presentations are published on the web for the benefit of all and those who can’t be present. If you don’t already know, PEER 1 offers the biggest cash payout on referrals in the hosting industry. We pay up to $2,000 for each referral that signs up for a managed hosting plan with us. The way it works is simple. When a prospect you refer to us either through our online form or over the phone signs a 12-month contract, we pay you a one-time cash amount equal to their monthly fee. If their monthly fee is $500, we pay you $500. If it’s $1,000, we pay you $1,000, and so on up to $2,000.
